Fall Family Pictures at Shevlin Park | Bend Oregon Photographer

Taking pictures of families as a Bend Photographer is seriously a dream! This is our first real fall in a number of years and I am so excited to experience it again! To wear long pants comfortably, socks, boots!!....but I digress. I love the pine trees and seeing the scenery change and seeing my families fall outfits. It all just makes me so happy. Tis the season for updated family pictures and Christmas card season is just around the corner. I loved the Brown family's fall color scheme that tied in with the feel of Fall at their location. The reds and the plaid are just a match made in heaven. I love the stage that the Brown Family is at with their little guy. Probably because we have boys the same age. The chunky baby-ness but strong independent moving towards the toddler stage. Its so fun.

When I asked Mara what she wanted me to capture during our session she emphasized just how much she loves the stage her little guy is at. He is curious and has the cheesiest smile when you can get him to laugh with his teeth showing. I worked hard to make sure we captured exactly what she was wanting.

And parents, don't be worried that your baby is TOO young for family pictures, obviously newborns are a whole other ball game, but toddlers have so much cuteness and joy to capture! They love being in new places usually, interacting with a new environment and they're just naturally so cute doing whatever they are doing. If you’re cool with the candid style of shots, these are perfect for a toddler. I will get down at their level and follow along capturing them being them for our time together.

The Brown family was a delight to capture, their little guy was so easy going and his temperament was so relaxed. A toddler, relaxed?! I know, sounds crazy but you can see from these pictures exactly what I'm talking about. We took this on a different side of Shelvin Park then I typically shoot at and I loved the big log to sit on as well as some additional pine trees in the background. Who's in need of family pictures still? I've got you covered!
