Sunriver Resort Family Pictures | Bend Oregon Photographer

Sunriver Oregon will knock your socks off with their year round beauty but it is absolutely breathtaking in the summer. With over 300 days of sun each year, the lighting is good 99% of the time for superb family pictures while you're visiting. The hour before sunset gives the dreamiest colors and comfortable temperatures so you don't feel like you're sweating through your session.

This mama to be (for the second time) and I go way back! Abby and I grew up together in the Bay Area. I was lucky enough for her to come through Central Oregon for some pictures with her little one. As a prior resident wife myself, I understand how busy her husband with his podiatry rotations and homework so some pictures of Abby and her sweet little girl was all she wanted (well get the full family pictures at a later date). I loved being able to capture some of their sweet relationship in these final months before this new baby came.

Abby nailed it with their outfits with earth tones that complimented this Sunriver trail location along the Deschutes River. Outfits like this don't take your attention away from the mother-daughter relationship we're trying to capture.

Abby's little one was a bit more timid and shy during our session. Which is fine! I'm unfamiliar and totally get it. I do all I can to ensure that your kids will feel as comfortable as they're willing to during our time together. All we needed was a blanket, some books, and small treats to help make her feel comfortable. By the end, little girl was running through the grass happy as could be.

Abby is an incredible mother who's easy going and calm spirit brought out the best for both of them during this session.

If you're a parent worried about how your kid(s) would do during a session, I do all I can to learn about their interests and personality prior to our session to come prepared to help them have fun and feel ready to be themselves during our session.
