Mountain Green is an awesome town and a hidden gem close to Snow Basin resort. However Mountain Green has been showing off thanks to all the rain we got this spring. The greens in the trees and the grass everywhere is such a surprise compared to past years. Utah is not looking dry this year! I found a new favorite little shady spot that gives the creamiest colors and light in Mountain Green. It makes me so happy. This family had a country theme and they nailed it. They wanted to enjoy the horses at the stables for a bit and then we walked around the river and captured all the goods.

These colors and earth tones in their outfits made such a difference in making these pictures turn out so well! I loved the accessories of the cowboy hats and the trendy boots. Mom took a lot of time to come up with this color palette and when she sent me a preview I knew it would photograph so well. Just know soft colors (not bright or neon colors) as well as earth tones will always be flattering to skin tones and look nice with any type of scenery. Other colors that are too bold or bright are distracting from your faces and can reflect in your skin tones. SO keep that in mind when you plan your outfits.

Don’t be fooled that you can’t get good smiles our of your teens and pre-teens. I love so many of the pictures and moments we captured in this session. Its always fun (and a challenge but a fun one) to capture different family dynamics. I always hope I am capturing families accurately.
