Shevlin Park in the Summer- Bend Family Photographer

Turns out the weather in Bend during the spring is truly bipolar. The date for our originally session we met and it was 30 MPH winds and in the 40s. The 40s!!!! Thankfully this patient family was willing to reschedule because enduring a full hour of that with two kids under 2 would have truly been torture for everyone

This cute cute family recently moved to Bend from Texas and wanted updated family pictures, due to covid they were never able to get the newborn photos of their youngest and 6 months later once the weather warmed up (except on the date of our original session lol) they took the opportunity. I also love that they booked a full hour, despite their girls being so young. Kaylea thought it would be best for her oldest to have more time because she is shy and wanted to give her the opportunity to get comfortable and really show her personality in these pictures. She was exactly right and I am so grateful she booked the extra time despite it being more money for them.

Thankfully on our date we rescheduled for we had beautiful 80 degree weather and I'm so glad because these little summer dresses on the girls and the higher temperatures made for very happy girls. Shevlin Park once again has a beautiful view of the mountains and turns everything golden once the sun is setting. I am never disappointed with shooting there. I love the squishiness of the baby and the crooked little smile of her big sister. What sweet and fun ages!

If you have recently moved to Bend and need updated family pictures of beautiful central Oregon please reach out! I love working with families of all shapes, ages and sizes in and around Bend.
