Shevlin Park Summer Family Session- Family Photographer In Bend
Shevlin park is so beautiful all year round in Bend, and I don't really know which season is my favorite for it. The sunsets knock your socks off with the Cascade Mountains in the background, the big open spaces keep you from feeling self- conscious with an audience during our session and the wheat looking brush go from gold to green and its beautiful in every form.
The Clark family is as sweet and darling as they come. We had to reschedule this session 3 separate times because spring weather in Bend is no joke so to finally get to do this was a treat. I love all the happiness their little girl encompasses, she like all little kids was a little shy and reserved at first but with time and just having her do some of her favorite things like swinging and being thrown in the air she was having the time of her life.
I loved the simplicity of their outfits, sometimes families aren't big pattern wearers and that is totally fine! I don't want you to dress in a way that you wouldn't. Their outfits keeps the focus on their faces and interactions. I send out a family outfit guide for all clients to help them feel confident in what they pick out.
Taylor was an absolute joy to capture, I would never want a family just because they have a child with special needs to go without pictures because they worry it would be too difficult to get them there or capture them in a good light. All families of all shapes sizes and abilities deserve and need updated family pictures so if you or someone you know falls into this category, I want you to know I will do everything I can to make a session as accommodating for a child with special needs as I can. We can find wheel chair accessible, or somewhere that they are comfortable and do them.
I hope we can all remember to cherish and enjoy the simple things in life like Taylor encompasses so well in these pictures. If you feel like its time for updated family pictures in Bend then let's chat!
