Sunriver Extended Family Pictures- Bend Oregon Photographer
There is possible forecast of snow on Sunday in mid April so it didn't seem too late to share this winter extended family session in Sunriver I did a few months back! I love getting to work with bigger groups because it is so fun to see generations together and those relationships. It’s so fun to see siblings interact, in-laws and cousins with each other. I didn't grow up with any of my immediate family nearby so it was always such a treat when we were able to see grandparents or cousins. Same for this family who is slit up all over Oregon, who took the opportunity to get some updated family pictures with everyone when they were together over the holidays at Sunriver, OR. Sunriver is pretty no matter what time of year you visit so you can't go wrong with getting pretty pictures out there.
You can get so much more variety for pictures with an extended family session, than you could with a mini session. Typically for extended families I don't do any less than an hour of time with them so we have the time to get all the variations of groups that you want. I can think back to the last time that we had pictures done with my entire extended family, and sadly some of them are the last pictures we have before certain family members passed away. So it is so important to document your family because its your legacy that your kids will have to look back on. I love being able to capture grandparents with their grandkids or cousins together. Those are the pictures that you will want later down the road.
I love the outfits that the Harlos family picked. Once getting to know them, I could really see how kids outfits tied so well to their personalities. And they all coordinated together so well with each other and the location. I always send over my outfit guide after booking to help you with planning outfits, because I know that can be stressful and not even know where to start sometimes. This family incorporated the perfect amount of patterns, layers and earth tones!
In the future if you have an extended family vacation planned you should look into getting pictures done! You won't regret having multi generational pictures when loved ones are gone.
