I have been loving leaning into more eclectic and colorful outfits for sessions. It adds an element of fun to pictures that I didn’t realize I’ve been missing out on with suggesting more neutrals for so long. And I love the contrast it offers in a white studio. When it comes to your pictures, I really just want your family to feel like yourselves in what you show up in and I don’t want you changing your usual style for your annual pictures.

I’ve worked with families for almost a decade now and I’ve learned the more comfortable a family is the better the pictures turn out. And it takes some prep before showing up to a photoshoot and on my end to make sure we’re set up for success. As the parents, it’s important to come with a great attitude and squash any bad attitude you or your kids may have. You have to be able to roll with the punches and not be thrown off by any of your kids behavior during a session.
