I am really enjoying being in a new place with lots of amazing spots to check out for pictures. Utah really has the bar high for back drops and thanks to the crazy winter we had we have had the best Spring and Summer! Everything has stayed so green and there are still wildflowers around! Incredible! I am so lucky that this family who I photographed when I lived in Bend traveled to Utah and asked me to do round 2 of family pictures for them! What a treat.

I work with so many boy families it seems and they the best of the best. A little more wild and rambunctious and it always makes for quick paced and fun sessions. We don’t need a big area to work with. And kids love being outside. It makes it easy to get candids of them if they are looking for flowers, being thrown in the air or interacting with a parent.

I’m always so grateful for return clients! It’s so fun to watch your kids grow and to document new milestones. My first session with these guys, the youngest was a newborn! Obviously a lot has changed now. Just remember, rather than stressing about your kids at a session, just have fun with them and be present.
