Salt Lake Fall Pictures- Layton Utah Photographer

I love working with return clients and the Herbst family is always a joy to work with. I love the look of this location near Salt Lake City. Gives off the southern vibes to me. Super unique for Utah and a less known location. The Herbst Family gets easier and easier to photograph every year. These guys always book a longer session and I think it allows for kids to be as comfortable as possible and really document their personalities and everyone’s relationships with each other.

Rather than waiting for the full fall colors and cooler temperatures and fighting crowds up in canyons, we did this session mid morning, which this location provided great shade, it wasn’t too cold yet, and we had plenty of space to run around and have fun. Plus you get your pictures way before the thick of busy season for photographers with plenty of time to make your decisions for Christmas Cards.

I loved the solid colors for their outfits. They stood out against the backdrop of these trees super well. Such a beautiful morning running through the grass, picking berries out of the trees and bringing out the best in everyone during these pictures. I love sessions like these!
