Shevlin Park Fall Pictures | Bend Family Photographer

I’m convinced that Bend, Oregon is the prettiest in the Fall, so being a family photographer and getting to capture beautiful families with amazing backdrops is seriously something I get so excited about. Also I can't say enough good about the clients I had this fall. It's so fun to meet your family, see relationships between everyone and see your family dynamic. I've captured more serious, goofy, patient, and go with the flow families over the years. It's exciting to me to show up to a session, and usually within the first few minutes I can gauge how our session will go. The Davidson family was one I knew from the start our session would be lots of fun and our 30 minutes would fly by. These guys brought their adorable dog Murphy who was the best behaved dog. It's usually easy to get a few pictures with your dog and then we can put them back in the car or tie them somewhere close while we finish the remainder of our session.

Let's just throw it out there. THEIR OUTFITS. I still am not over what they showed up in because it was SO DANG GOOD. These guys belong in a Bend's Best Dressed Family Magazine, lol. The deep colors mixed with patterns, and the girls in flowy dresses was perfect. I knew Abbey put a lot of thought and effort into their clothes and I really appreciated that!

When I asked Abbey what she wanted captured she told me it had been over four years since they had had family pictures done, so I knew I had to deliver! I know it is so important to mom's to capture your kids current personalities and features and that's something i make an effort to do in every session. These siblings were so cute, one was more reserved and gentle, the other was goofy and wanting to be the life of the party. I'll let you guess from the pictures which was which.

Shevlin Park worked its magic again! Even though we had 15 mph winds and low temperatures, with lots of running around and moving, I'm hoping they never noticed. Always grateful when clients smile through the crazy weather! If you need to update family pictures, and are ready to embrace the chaos, let's chat!
