Smith Rock State Park | Family Photographers in Bend
Long ago I held a giveaway on my instagram for anyone local or visiting Bend to enter to win a a family session with me and the Harris family were the lucky winners. At the time, their little guy was still very young and they wanted to wait for warmer weather and til he was bigger to cash in on their session. We lucked out and got a nice warm day in April not long after Cody's first birthday and enjoyed a very uncrowded day at Smith Rock State Park due to cloudiness.
The Harris family dresses ti perfectly coordinate with the colors of Smith Rock. I love the boho vibe that they were giving off with parts of their outfits and the little pop of color with dad's shirt. My clients have been knocking it out of the park lately with their outfits, which I'm not here to toot my own horn, but I think my style guide is definitely helping them with looking fabulous at their session.
Smith Rock State Park is just 30-ish minutes outside of Bend in Terrebonne, OR. It really is just a little hidden (but not so hidden, thanks google) gem. It is always so beautiful any time of day you are there but sunsets really take the cake. The crowds are leaving, its not a million degrees and talk about a unique backdrop when you send your Christmas cards. There's really nothing like it nearby.
This little guy was just the most content and had the perfect little closed-mouth smile I have EVER seen on a kid this age. What one year olds just smile like this for an extended period of time? I've never met one until Cody lol. SO honestly I took a ton of pictures of everyone looking at the camera because he literally just stared at me and smiled for a large portion of the time. i was literally in awe of him and so happy this whole session. I hope you are too just through looking at the pictures.
If you want awesome views and a unique backdrop let's plan your next session at Smith Rock!
