Wheeler Farm Family Pictures- Salt Lake County Family Photographer

I'm grateful to have friends who support me when we travel to nearby! My husband has grown up with Bret and his brother Kyle, which I also did a session for, that will be right after this one, it is fun to watch friends get married and then have kids. Alexis and Bret met on Tinder and have been together 5 years. The app works people! These are people we wish lived closer to hang out with regularly because they're so fun and easy to be around

This was their first set of family pictures pictures with Rosie, aside from newborns, as many mom's to baby's that are under a year old, Alexis was worried about how Rosie would be with sunset being so late, so we found a great spot that provided lots of shade so we would be able to start earlier.

As much as I want everyone to shoot at sunset or sunrise, I know with working with families it is not always possible. I do all I can to try and find locations that will provide shade for us or we do the best we can with what we got. Wheeler Farm is in Draper, UT and a great spot for pictures. They have lots of trails and trees and greenery that provides beautiful backdrops and secluded areas. I love looking through this session and seeing all the variety in the location.

I also loved that this family brought along their dog. She was seriously the most mild and best dog I have worked with. She obeyed everything and didn't bark, jump or wander off. It's always a good idea to have an extra person there with you to help with the dog if you don't want them in all the pictures, to have a leash and treats or a squeaky toy to keep their attention and get them to look at the camera.
