What sweet experience to get to do an in home session while waiting my own little baby to join us in the near future. This sweet little by has joined this blended family. Such an exciting experience to be able to document it. If you want to take pictures in your home once your baby arrives the good news is you don’t need some model home or the whole house to be spotless, a good photographer will be angle well to hide spots of your home you don’t want seen but make sure to give you the best light. Really in home sessions are all about the close ups and getting tight angles to focus on your family relationships.

This sweet newborn being almost a whopping 10 pounds slept for the majority of our time together, however a good rule of thumb is to be sure baby has eaten just before our session so they’re full and then hopefully sleepy. However we always work to make baby as comfortable and happy as possible during our session.

These older siblings were thrilled to get to take part in the action of holding their baby brother and getting to give him a bottle. However if you have kids who are younger that you want to take part in the session, but you know their attention spans are short, rest assured we are flexible and will get the shots when they’re willing and then give them breaks so we can just focus on mom and dad or baby.
