Mother Daughter Photoshoot in Central Oregon- Family Photographer in Bend
When Mandi contacted I knew with being a single mom, and that her daughter was her world. And when I met them in person and saw how they interact I really felt that. The word that came to mind over and over again during our photoshoot was how safe and connected this girl feels to her mom. Truly these two are the best of friends and getting to capture moms with their kids is such a privilege. I work hard to capture your relationship and those feelings through pictures so it can be preserved in time. And it makes me really excited to see my relationship with my daughter continue to grow and blossom.
I loved Mandi and Lily's outfits. They complimented the scenery at the Badlands so well. Summer is definitely on its way which means no more cute layers but instead the adorable jumpers, dresses and sandals. These girls definitely nailed it on the outfits. I loved the soft tones and accessories they had.
There was no lack of fun during this session. Kids of all ages have tons of energy and that's why I love photographing families. It always keeps me on my toes and trying new things. In Mandi's questionnaire she talked about how playful they are with each other. They danced, they sang, they snuggled, they laughed, they played games.
The Badlands is a great location just off Highway 20. I love how huge the area feels and the views of the sunset and how the sun paints the hills across from it gold in the evening. It's definitely becoming a new favorite spot for me. No matter what your journey in motherhood looks like please be sure to document it. I feel really lucky to have been able to capture these for this sweet mom and to give her these for her and her daughter to look back on.
